Linda M. Pontillo

Linda M. Pontillo of New Paltz, NY formerly of New Rochelle, NY died August 9, 2022 peacefully at her Home. Linda was born July 2, 1960 in New Rochelle, NY to Anthony Bombace and Dorothy Castiglia. Linda made a career as a teachers aide at the New Paltz Central school district. Linda assisted the teacher in preparing lesson outlines, plans, and curricula in assigned areas. Later on in her career she became more involved with children with special needs. Linda loved caring for those children in particular, she found so much joy in touching their hearts. Linda is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, Steven, Nicholas, and Kristie Rose. She was an adored grandmother of two, Ella & Audrey Umbro. Linda is also survived by her two brothers Anthony Bombace, George (Joy) Bombace, and two nieces, Briana and Andrea, Mother-in- law Tecolena Pontillo, sister-in- law Christine Pontillo and brother-in- law John Pontillo. Linda was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Patrick V. Pontillo who passed in 2001.
