Lily Munford

Lily Munford 90, a longtime resident of Pleasantville, NY died on Dec. 29, 2014. Lily was born on Aug. 24, 1924 to the late Otto and Luise (nee Rosenberg) Zucker in Vienna, Austria. Lily worked as a social worker for the Pleasantville Cottage School in Thornwood, NY. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert Torierro in 1998. She was also predeceased by her loving son Jonathan Munford and her brother Hans Zucker and his wife Ilona Karmel Zucker. Lily is survived by son Stephen and his wife Theresa Munford, her four cherished grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial wake will be held at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY. On Wednesday from 4-8PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to St. Judes Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.
