Lillian Borgenicht

February 28, 1918 — February 21, 2015

Born on February 28, 1918 Departed on February 21, 2015

Lillian Nacht Borgenicht, 97, passed away peacefully at home February 21, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Travis Borgenicht with whom she spent 50 years. They shared successful careers in the children's clothing industry as well as a lively social life centered at the Friars Club. Upon retirement, Lillian's creative skills were expressed in her beautiful sculptures and paintings. She mesmerized us with her colorful stories of New York City life in the early 20th century. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, exquisite style and fierce political opinions. Lillian is survived by her loving daughter Linda Rosen Schoenfeld, son-in-law Lester Schoenfeld, granddaughters Jennifer Gwen Schoenfeld and Dana Marisa Schoenfeld and sisters Rosalie Steier and Sylvia Luckom. We all will miss her dearly.
