Leonard Mignini 78, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Feb.1, 2021 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on March 12, 1942 to the late Dominick and Margaret (nee Masello) Mignini in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He grew up in Oak Street in Yonkers, which is what his nick name was by his wife, Oak Street. He lived in Irvington until moving to Valhalla with his family in 1970. Leonard was a retired Senior Mechanic with Con Edison in Eastview for over 30 Years. Leonard loved to travel The Caribbean and the Mediterranean with his wife Catherine and loved to swim in the ocean with his children and grandchildren. Their home in Valhalla was always the hub of family get togethers. Leonard was predeceased by his devoted wife, married Oct.18, 1964, Catherine (nee Picarello) Mignini in 2021 and also predeceased by his brother, Dominick, Jr. (Sonny) Mignini and sisters, Lena Ciaramello and Ann D’Ottavio. He is survived by his loving children, Len (Andrea) Mignini of Cornwall, N.Y. and Annmarie Mignini of Valhalla, N.Y. also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Kristian and Kassandra Mignini and many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Yonkers, N.Y. on Friday, 11 AM.
