Leona M. Hertzberg

Leona M. Hertzberg 90, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Nov. 4, 2009 at her residence. She was born on February 16, 1919 to the late Marcellus and Helena Adams in Altoona, PA. Leona was predeceased by her devoted husband Jack Hertzberg in 1971. She is survived by her loving children; Murray Hertzberg and his wife Josephine of Valhalla, N.Y. Beth Clark and her husband John of Plymouth, Mass. and Janet Hertzberg of Ossining, N.Y. She was the oldest sibling of 20. Also survived by her 6 cherished grandchildren Russell, Matthew, Jaeson, Jonathan, Jennifer Hertzberg and Jacqueline Clark, and 1 great granddaughter Elizabeth Hertzberg. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 4-8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday 9:30 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Phelps Hospice, Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. would be appreciated.
