Laura Sessa

Laura Sessa 91, formerly of North White Plains, N.Y. died on August 15, 2011. She was born on April 1, 1920 to the late Ernest and Grace (nee Brigetta) Schiavone in Bari, Italy. Laura was predeceased by her devoted husband Arthur Sessa in 1976, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her loving daughters; Carol (Richard) Barnett and Lois (David) Sammarco both of North White Plains, N.Y. one sister, Mildred Berger of NJ. and one brother, Joseph Schiavone of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. also survived by her six cherished grandsons and thirteen great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Hebrew Hospital Home of Westchester 61 Grasslands Road Valhalla, N.Y. 10595 (Alzheimer's Unit) would be appreciated.
