Laura Morea RN 57, of Poughquag, N.Y. and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died suddenly on vacation in Barbados, West Indies on Oct.18, 2015. She was born on August 4, 1958 to Robert and Vera Weber in Yonkers, N.Y. She was a registered nurse with Mid Hudson Regional Hospital (former St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and dedicated her career to the medical field, serving those suffering from addictions, mental illness and veterans suffering from PTSD and loved her family, faith and profession. Laura is survived by her parents, Robert and Vera Weber of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. and by her devoted husband, Robert Morea of Poughquag, N.Y. and by her loving brother, Robert (Stephanie) Weber, Jr. of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by her many beloved nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws. also surviving is her much loved dog, Bella and her cat, Milo. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church, Elmsford, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Interment Private.
