Kurt Kerschus

Kurt Kerschus 74, of Hartsdale, N.Y. died on Nov. 10, 2009 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on Dec.17, 1934 to the late Fritz and Anne (nee Boller) Kerschus in Kiel, Germany. He proudly served in the US Army. Kurt was a landscape gardener for the Paulist Fathers in Scarsdale, N.Y. retiring in 1997. He is survived by his devoted wife Brodine (nee Soennichsen) Kerschus of Hartsdale, N.Y. His loving children; Martin Kerschus and his wife Cheryl of Peekskill. N.Y. and Monika Kerschus-Granholm and her husband Carl of Hastings, N.Y. 1 sister Hannelore Enghard of Monroe, N.Y. and 1 brother Ernst Kerschus of Kiel, Germany. Also survived by 3 cherished grandchildren; Kayla and Nicholas Kerschus and Kurik Granholm. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 5-9 PM. where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment, Private.
