Kevin Michael De Lacy

It is with great sadness, that the family of Kevin Michael De Lacy of Somers NY announce his passing on May 19th at the age of 80. He will be forever missed by his children Michael (Rose Marie), Noreen, and Maureen Palmer (Gene). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to his three grandchildren, Michael Jr, Tyler and Jason.

Kevin was the son of Michael and Marcella De Lacy and was born in Moyvalley, County Kildare, Ireland. He came to America at the age of eighteen, and met his future wife Jeanette. Kevin worked as a crane operator for The International Union of Operating Engineers for over forty years and together they were able to provide a wonderful life for their family. He also enjoyed coaching for the White Plains Patriots, where the whole family got involved.

Kevin adored all of his many nieces, nephews and their families. He also loved the outdoors and all of God's creatures. You could always find Kevin surrounded by smiling people eager to hear him tell one of his colorful stories.

He is survived by his sisters Marie Leggett (Brendan), Frances (Dennis), Barbara (Terry), Joan, and Adrienne and brother Padriag.
He is Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Jeanette and brothers, Tom (Diane), Brendan (Carol), Donald (Elizabeth), and Michael (Philomena).
Catholic Burial will be on Friday, May 22nd, 1:30pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Avenue, White Plains, NY.
