Kennen Rosamonde Kinzler

Kennen Rosamonde Kinzler 80, of Shrub Oak, N.Y. died on May 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born on July 29, 1934 to the late Robert and Rosamonde Pratt in St.Clair, MI. Kennen was a retired Social Worker CPS with the County of Westchester Dept. of Social Services in White Plains, N.Y. She was a graduate of SUNY Purchase, an avid gardener, reader and an advocate of Human Rights and Social Justice. She predeceased by her devoted husband, Warner Kinzler in 1972 and by her daughter Frances Grandia and son, Karl Kinzler and one deceased brother, Robert (Gus) Pratt. Kennen is survived by her loving children, Mary Alice (Francis Xavier) Bracken of San Jose, Calif., Susan (Phillip) McBrearty of Oswego, N.Y., Rosamond (Carl Bespolka) Kinzler of Valhalla, N.Y. and Frederick (Rachel Smith) Kinzler of Trumbull, Conn. two sisters, Jeanne Pratt of Milford, NH and Joan Semrai of Wakefield, RI. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jamis, Amber (Gordley Jarrett), Corrianna Simon (Patrick) Grandia, Karla Bracken, Kennen and Margo McBrearty, Robert Kinzler and Carl and Olivia Bespolka and great grandchildren, Kenya and Nyali Jarrett and Brenden and Connor Simon. and her beloved dog, Zoe. Visitation at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
