Kathleen D. Ryan 72, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on April3,2017. She was born on Feb.14,1945 to the late Walter and Rachel Lyons in Yonkers, N.Y. She was a retired Catholic School Teacher, serving in various Westchester Schools including, St.Anthony of Padua School in West Harrison, N.Y. Kathie is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin W. Ryan and by her loving sons, Christopher (Kiri) Ryan of Bethel, CT and Stephen Ryan of White Plains, N.Y. also survived by her two cherished granddaughters, Cailin and Maggie Ryan and by her sister, Sr.Winifred Lyons, SC of Nanuet, N.Y. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
