Kathleen Anne Grascia

Kathleen Anne Grascia, 64, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on April 25, 2025.

Kathleen was born on February 22, 1961 in Yonkers, New York To Martin Kirschbaum and Barabara Hesselberg. She married John P. Grascia on September 15, 1990 and spent 34 years together raising a loving family that will cherish all her memories.

Kathleen was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of her three children. You could always find Kathleen down at the waterfront with her kids, a baseball game for her son, or even down at the jersey shore on the boardwalks. One tradition that Kathleen did with her father and was able to pass on to her children and nieces and nephews was always getting in a car and chasing thunderstorms and lightning.

Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband John; her children Teresa Grascia, Michael Grascia (Danielle), and Johnny Grascia; Her Granddaughter Haley Kodjo-Grascia; Her Brother William Kirschbaum (Christine); and many nieces and nephews.

Her Family will gather with friends to remember and honor her Life on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 12-4pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 E. Main Street, Elmsford, New York, where a prayer service will be offered at 3:00PM. Interment will be private at the discretion of her family.
