Karl H. Burghart 72, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died suddenly on Feb.2, 2013. He was born on Feb.3, 1940 to the late Ernst and Bertha (nee Wacker) Burghart in NYC. He was
a retired banker with Citi Bank in NYC. Karl is survived by his devoted wife Nona Lee (nee Coleman) Burghart of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving sons, Karl Burghart of Ballston Spa, N.Y. James (Marion) Burghart of Berne, N.Y. and Jeb (Shannon) Burghart of Greensboro, NC. three sisters, Barbara Feeney and Elizabeth Burghart, both of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Nancy (Tebo) Haviland of Warren, Maine. also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Kelly, Karl, Ellie and Jackson Burghart. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Tuesday, 7-9 PM. and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to St.Judes Childrens Hospital Memphis, Tenn. would be appreciated.
