Karen Ann Sullivan

Karen Ann Sullivan of Briarcliff Manor, NY passed away on December 12, 2016. She was 66. Karen was a Technical Manager for HP at the NY Stock Exchange before retirement. Karen was nationally recognized for her database design work. She was born in Brooklyn on September 27, 1950 to Robert and Mary Jane Kelly. Karen graduated from D'Youvillian College with a BA degree in mathematics. On May 13, 1989 she married Arthur Sullivan. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and a member of AACA. Karen was an avid reader who loved doing all kinds of puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays trimming the Christmas tree and baking cookies. She is survived by her husband Arthur, mother Mary Jane Kelly, Siblings Kathleen, Richard (Mary) and Christopher. Children Matthew (Corina) Sullivan, Krista (Mark) Kulagga and Alyssa (Dennis) Barbelet. Grandchildren Ryan, Brayden, Maeve, Cole, Collin, Aubrey and William. Calling hours at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532 on Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass St. Theresa Church, Briarcliff Manor on Friday 10:00 am. Interment Ferncliff. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association .
