June Rose Theall, 75, passed away on May 25, 2008 at Fieldhome Holy Comforter in Cortland Manor, NY. She was born on June 16, 1932 at Bellevue Hospital, NY, and was raised in Hartsdale, NY, by her parents, Otto and Eugenie Juliet Holy, who emigrated from Czechoslovakia. Legally, her last name was Holly due to an error on her birth certificate by a nurse. As an only child, she attended the Hartsdale public school system, and graduated from White Plains High School. After studying for a year at Drew University in Madison, NJ, she dropped out due to a lack of college funds and the need to care for her ailing parents. She began working at Union Carbide in New York City in the filing department for the Bakelite Division. A year later, she temporarily quit in order to take her mother to Europe for a month; upon her return, she was rehired. Over the course of twenty years, she was promoted to the Administration and Finance Department, and then to the Stock Transfer Department in Westchester County. She was an active member in Eastern Star and met her future husband, a Masonic Master, while Matron. On December 27, 1969 she wed Howard Ives Theall and relocated to White Plains, which became her permanent residence. Her daughter, Eugenie Juliet Theall, whom she named after her mother, and a son, Howard Ives Theall, Jr., and his wife, Christine, survive her.
