June Marie Ricci

June Franzese Ricci, age 79, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. June was born July 11, 1933 in Owego, NY to parents Joseph and Celia Franzese. June is survived by her husband of 55 years, Albert Ricci of West Harrison; son Gregory and his wife Diana, of West Harrison; son-in-law Jim Weinberg of CT; and two beautiful grandchildren Antonia and AJ. She is also survived by brothers Gene, Joseph and Allan Franzese and sister Dawn Franzese Rife, along with many relative and drear friends. June was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Michelle Weinberg. June and Bert are well known residents of West Harrison as the proprietors of the Silver Lake Hardware Store which they ran for 36 years, along with son Gregory. Prior to the hardware store June worked at Nestle in White Plains. June will long be remembered for her easy going manner, fun loving spirit, ability to form lifelong friendships and her dedication to family. Visiting hours to celebrate June's life will be held at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains on Monday, February 4 from 5-9pm where the funeral service will be held at 8pm.
