Julius Wilk

Julius Wilk 102, of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Jan.15, 2021. He was born on July 31, 1918 to the late Vincent and Wtaga (nee Zalewski) Wilk in Irvington, N.J. He proudly served in the US Army from 1941-1945 in WWII. He was a retired Truck Driver. Julius was a simple man. He loved going to the casinos, watching the NY Yankees and watching old Western and Military movies. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jeannette (nee Young) Wilk in 2014 and also predeceased by his siblings, Helen, Bruno, Teddy, Adelle and Frank. Julius is survived by his loving children, Karen (Gilbert) Machado of Elmsford, N.Y. and Brian Wilk of Dallas, TX. also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Miranda and Brandon Machado. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan.24, 2021 from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM. Where Religious Services will be held at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
