Julia (Julie) Imperatore Acampora

Julia (Julie) Imperatore Acampora 85, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Oct.27, 2012 after a short illness. She was born on March 24, 1927 to the late Michele and Francesca (nee Rippalone) Imperatore in Bronx, N.Y. She graduated from Drake Business School in the 1940's. Julia was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Michael S. Acampora in 1982 and her beloved daughter, Michele Acampora. She is survived by her loving daughter, Francine McElhinney and is the cherished grandmother of Michael and Nicholas McElhinney, all of Valhalla, N.Y. Undoubtedly, she and her beautiful smile will be missed by her immediate family and friends. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Thursday 4-8 PM.
