Judith Ittelson

Judith Carol Ittelson, age 72, of White Plains, NY, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Judy was born on September 1, 1943 in the Bronx, NY to Harry and Frances Barnow. She graduated from White Plains High School and Long Island University where she majored in elementary education. Judy loved children and enjoyed every day spent in the classroom. Her family was the most important thing to her, it was the foundation to her life. Judy is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Warren Ittelson, her adored children Marc and Pavlina Ittelson, and Jennifer (Ittelson) and John Mahon, and her cherished grandchildren, Samuel, Sophie, and Shannon, as well as her twin brother, Michael Barnow and his wife, Adrienne. The funeral service was held Friday, February 19 at Congregation Kol Ami of Westchester. The family will sit shiva through sundown on Tuesday, February 23.
