Joyce (Cristallo) Lopez

Joyce Lopez, age 70, passed away peacefully in her home on November 24, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born in the Bronx to Joseph Cristallo and Louise (Tiso) Cristallo. Joyce was a graduate of Eastchester High School, Class of 1970. She married Albert Lopez on June 21, 1980 in Eastchester. She went on to get her Master’s Degree and become a teacher in White Plains School District. Joyce’s passions were crotcheting and working in her gardens. She loved to cook and bake with her daughters. Shopping and finding the best bargain always put a smile on her face.

Joyce is survived by her husband Albert and daughters Julie Graff (Jim) and Jessica Manning (Jim) and beloved puppy Ella. Joyce also left behind her siblings Nicholas Cristallo (Lynn), Louis Cristallo (Josephine) Cindi Seide (Jeff) and Joseph Cristallo (Sue) and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Joyce’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday, November 28 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hawthorne Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 29 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.

Memorial donations can be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
