Josephine Anne Mentrasti

Josephine Anne Mentrasti (Judy) 80, A lifelong resident of Hartsdale, NY. Born March 19, 1933 daughter of the late Louis and Maria Costabile, sister of Nancy Esposito, passed away suddenly July 24, 2013 after a short illness. Josephine was a devout Catholic who volunteered for many years teaching CCD in her parish. Always a dedicated fan of her beloved Yankees, Josephine is survived by her children Andrew (Donna), Andrea, Robert (Denise) and Ronald. She is also survived by her grandsons Timothy (Amy), Christopher, Brandon and Godson Daniel Esposito. Visiting Hours will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY on Friday July 26, 2013 from 2pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Hartsdale, NY.
