Josephine B. Cattarrasa

Josephine B. Cattarrasa 85, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on April 11, 2012 at Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. She was born on Dec.13, 1926 to the late Joseph and Maria (nee Ragusa) Castro in NYC. Josephine worked for Dr. Walter Aronoff as a dental assistant in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. and later became a legal secretary for the family law firm Cattarrasa Law Firm in Yonkers, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Michael L. Cattarrasa in 1987 and by her two brothers and three sisters. Josephine is survived by her loving children; Lenore M. Gabbamonte and Frank Cattarrasa both of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by her two cherished grandchildren, Alicia and Michael Gabbamonte. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 1-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
