Joseph A. Shallo, Jr

Joseph A. Shallo, Jr. 63, of White Plains, N.Y. died unexpectedly on Sept.11, 2010 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on Oct.3, 1946 to the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Tamburro) Shallo in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Joseph was Director of Security for Kimco Realty Corp. in New Hyde Park, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Carol (nee Carpenito) Shallo of White Plains, N.Y. His loving children; Joseph Shallo and his wife Tracey of Dingmans Ferry, PA., Anthony Shallo and his wife Sandy , and Angela Irizarry and her husband Frank, both of White Plains, N.Y. one brother Michael Shallo and his wife Angela of Eastchester, N.Y. and two sisters Geraldine Shallo of Scarsdale, N.Y. and Christine Crisci of Ossining, N.Y. Also survived by his six cherished grandchildren; Joseph, Mikaela, Cassidy, Anthony, Alyssa and Christopher. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, White Plains, N.Y.on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Assoc. would be appreciated.
