Joseph J. Nicoletti, Sr

Joseph J. Nicoletti, Sr., age 82, of Valhalla, N.Y., died December 15, 2005at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY. He was born May 8, 1923 in Valhalla, NY. To Nicole and Delia (Pacensa) Nicoletti. Mr. Nicoletti, was employed by Stotz Garage, retiring in 1988, and was the former owner of J. Nicoletti Service Station, in Valhalla, NY, from the late 1950's to late 1960's. Joseph was a long time member of Valhalla Independent Fire Company, Valhalla American Legion Post 1038, and Mount Pleasant Police Auxiliary. He was a World War II veteran from January 1943 thru November 1945 as a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps serving in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Nicoletti is survived by his wife of 56 years Frances (Mancuso) Nicoletti; of Valhalla, NY, one son Joseph (Bud) J. Nicoletti, Jr. of Valhalla, NY, one daughter Jeanne Kenneally of Thornwood, NY, three brothers Ralph Nicoletti, Identical Twin Michael Nicoletti both of Valhalla, NY, Nicholas Nicoletti of Hawthorne, NY and one sister Gladys Ciocca of Valhalla, NY. Four Grandchildren Laurieann and Joseph, III Nicoletti and Kimberly and Kara Kenneally. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Funeral Mass Holy Name of Jesus Church Monday 10 AM, Interment Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
