Joseph Goldenberg

Joseph Goldenberg 87, died December 8, 2013 peacefully in his sleep. He was born on March 18, 1926 in New York City. Most recently he lived with family in Valhalla, NY and then at The Kensington Assisted Living in White Plains, NY. He is survived by his loving children, Erica West (Ed) of Huntington, NY and Neil Goldenberg of Valhalla, NY, grandchildren Joshua, Carollynn, Christopher and Adam, daughter-in-law Claire Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his late wife, Marguerite Louise (Jury) Goldenberg, his late son, Kim Goldenberg and his late daughter-in-law Sandra Kelly Goldenberg. Joe will be remembered for his sense of humor and entertaining stories. He was a gentle man who loved his family and we will miss him. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 6-9 PM. Where funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM. Internment private.
