Joseph V. De Pasquale
Born on April 1, 1974, in Glendale, Long Island, New York to Joseph C and Lillian De Pasquale. Raised in Jamaica Estates, Queens, New York until the age of 12, he then relocated to Chappaqua, NY. Joseph passed away on August 11, 2023 in Las Vegas and is survived by his brother, Vincent De Pasquale.
Joseph graduated from Horace Greeley High School, Chappaqua, New York and played the tackle position for the school football team. He was affectionately known as "Joe D" on the football field. Joseph pursued further education at Iona College. Joseph moved to Long Island after getting married.
Joseph co-ran the family business, Debro Manufacturing Corporation in Queens, NY. Later in life, Joseph moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked for Friedman Corporation as Operations Manager where he managed and set up trade shows across the United States and Canada. Joseph was very fortunate to have a second family of colleagues at his job in Las Vegas.
Joe was unique. He had his own personality and could be stubborn at times but would take his shirt off his back for his friends and family. He was always there, at the drop of a hat, if you needed anything. He enjoyed motorcycles and collecting sports memorabilia. He also found great joy in the companionship of his beloved dog Aries, and cat
The beauty of genuine brotherhood and peace is more precious than diamonds, silver or gold. You are alive through my prayers and wishes, so rest peacefully, brother.
One day we will remember how lucky we were to have known their love, with wonder, not grief.
Whenever I am missing you two, I also remember how fortunate I was that you two were in my life. I wouldn't trade those moments for the world.
Tears shed for others are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign of a pure heart. Until we meet again. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us even every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still missed, and held so dear.
Lillian and Joe will be missed by many, but we will never forget the love we all shared as a family and the laughs we all had.
