With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Sartori, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Born in Italy on July 1, 1926, John dedicated his life to his family and his work. As a printing manager at Volk for nearly 50 years, and nearly 30 years at AAA Emergency Supply in White Plains, NY, John was known for his dedication, humor, and hard work, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
A loving husband to Lena for 75 years, John was a pillar of strength and love for his family. Proud of his service in the Army, John exemplified dedication and commitment in all aspects of his life. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, particularly enjoying family vacations to places like Disney World.
John is survived by his loving spouse Lena Sartori, son John Sartori and daughter-in-law Patricia Sartori, daughter Joyce Orlando and son-in-law Chris Orlando, grandson John Sartori and his spouse Alicia Sartori, granddaughters Melissa Sartori and Payton Orlando, and great-grandchild Kaleigh Sartori. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Elmsford to honor John's life will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 11am, bringing together family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate his legacy. Entombment will take place at Ferncliff Cemetery immediately following Mass, where he will be laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves. In honoring his memory, let us carry forward his spirit of love, dedication, and joy in all that we do. John's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and warmth. May he rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks friends and family to make a donation to the Hudson Valley Honor Flight in John's honor.
