John J. McDonald 93, of Elmsford, N.Y. died on Jan. 5, 2018. He was born on June 28, 1924 to the late Joseph and Dorothea (nee Jacoby) McDonald in Ossining, N.Y. He worked as a stock clerk for Minneford Yacht Yards in City Island, N.Y. John was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Elmsford, N.Y. He is survived by his sister, Mary Arlene McDonald of Elmsford, N.Y. and also survived by his five nephews and two nieces. Predeceased by one sister, Katherine Janis McLoughlin. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Elmsford, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Ossining, N.Y.
