John H. Kastberg

John H. Kastberg 80, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Feb. 23, 2011. He was born on June 5, 1930 to the late John and Anna (nee Doherty) Kastberg in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. He served proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. John was a retired economist with J.P. Stevens, Inc. Textiles in NYC. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Catherine (nee O'Connell) Kastberg in 2000. John is survived by his loving children; John (Christine) Kastberg of Chesterfield, MO., James (Joanne) Kastberg of Katonah, N.Y., Karen Russotti of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y., Barbara (Michael) Grollimund of Carmel, N.Y. and Kathleen (Joseph) Magno of Belmont, Mass. Also survived by his 17 cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday 10 AM.
