John R. Farren

John R. Farren 72, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Jan. 4, 2011. He was born on March 9, 1939 to the late Jack and Kathleen Farren in White Plains, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. John was a retired firefighter with the White Plains Fire Dept. John is survived by his sons; Sean Farren and his wife Danielle of Middletown, N.Y. and Blair Farren of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by his four grandchildren; Samantha, Kevin, Patrick and Dylan. and his former wife Lynn Farren of Bronx, N.Y. Predeceased by his son Kevin Farren in 1997. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday 5-9 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to any animal shelter would be appreciated.
