John L. DiMaggio

John Leon DiMaggio 54, of Valhalla, N.Y. passed away suddenly on April 22, 2013
at Westchester Medical Center after a brief illness. John was born on Oct.7, 1958 in the Bronx, and lived most of his life in Valhalla, N.Y. He was a 1976 graduate of Valhalla High School and attended Westchester Community College and Pace University. He was a long time employee of the New York City Transit Authority (MABSTOA), and was active in union affairs. John was an avid Yankees and Jets fan. He is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Benedetto DiMaggio of Valhalla, N.Y. and his sister, Susan of
Durham, NC. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
