Jo Anne M. Pignataro

Jo-Anne Mary Pignataro 76, of Manhattan, NY passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was surrounded by her family at her time of death. Jo-Anne was born on February 18, 1944 in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in the Borough of Manhattan to the late Frank and Carrie Pignataro. She was the oldest of four children. Jo-Anne obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hunter College and her Masters Degree from New York University. Jo-Anne worked as an Executive Secretary for New York University for 25 years and in her spare time taught English to foreign students. After her retirement, Jo-Anne enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and writing. Jo-Anne loved to remember the good ol’ days and would often reminisce about her childhood. Jo-Anne will be greatly missed.
