JoAnn Palmieri, 69 years old passed away on August 31, 2013. She was born on May 23, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, New York. JoAnn lived in Hawthorne, N.Y. since 1969. She is deceased by her parents; Joseph and Mary Barnaba. She is survived by her husband Richard of fifty years of marriage. She is also survived by her son Richard and his wife Dawn of Patterson, N.Y. Also her daughter Vikki and her husband, Dean Hansen of Pleasantville, N.Y. She will be very missed by her five grandchildren Alexi, Nicholas, Jonathan, Jordan and Matthew. JoAnn is also survived by her brother Nicholas Barnaba of Mahopac, N.Y. and her sister Brenda and her husband David Swartz of Valhalla, N.Y. She is also survived by her best friend of fifty years Roseanne Sorby of Hawthorne, N.Y. She also had another dear friend Betsy Purdy of Fishkill, N.Y. JoAnn worked for Sunburst Communications in Pleasantville for twenty three years. And she is survived and loved by the rest of her beloved family and friends. God bless may she rest in peace.
