Joan A. Sheehy 72, of Thornwood, N.Y. Died on August 24, 2005 at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1933 to Joseph and Veronica (nee Skripko) Seebode in Yonkers, N.Y. Joan was employed by Ciba-Geigy in Ardsley, N.Y.
as Head of Relocations for 10 yrs. retiring in 1994. She was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla, N.Y. and a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel Sheehy in 1979 and her son Daniel R. Sheehy III in 1998. Joan is survived by 3 daughters Kathleen Hammond and her husband Michael of Thornwood, N.Y. Sarah Sheehy of Thornwood, N.Y. and Eileen Sheehy and her husband Matthew Karabaic
of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. 1 brother Joseph Seebode and 1 sister Virginia Hill. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home
