Joan K. Moch, 83, passed away on November 30, 2010 in White Plains Hospital. She was born in New York June 24, 1927, the younger daughter of Alfred and Geraldine Kahn. She graduated from the Julliard School and spent many years singing with the Collegiate Chorale in New York and performing masterworks in choruses under the direction of Leonard Bernstein, Robert Shaw and Serge Koussevitzky. She was also an accomplished and award-winning amateur ceramist. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald M. Moch, her children Susan A. Moch (Roland Poirier) and Kenneth I. Moch (Ellen Stolzman), her grandchildren Marc and Alison Poirier and Jonathan and Stephen Moch, her sister Bunny Marks, her brother-in-law Irving Moch, Jr. and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Julliard School of Music.
