Joan E. Malara

Joan E. Malara 86, of Hartsdale, N.Y. passed away on Dec. 5, 2016 at White Plains Hospital. She was born on Oct. 8, 1930 in Murphysboro IL to the late Alice McGhee. She was predeceased by her loving husband Philip Malara Sr. in 2013 and one son Philip J. Malara Jr. in 2006 and her step father Joseph Arciola. Joan is survived by her cherished grandson Christopher (Nicole) Malara of Tarrytown, N.Y. Visitation, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Friday from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 12:30 PM. Entombment to follow.
