Joan Jensen Lovetro

Joan Jensen Lovetro 77, of Mahopac, N.Y. passed away on July 16, 2010 after a long battle with leukemia. Joan was born on July 18, 1932 in NYC and is survived by her husband George, her daughters Susan, Lois and Karen, their spouses as well as eight grandchildren. Joan was known by all as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother whose priority was always her family. Most recently joan was a resident of Leesburg, Florida where she and George retired in 2004 after living in Mahopac, N.Y. for nearly forty years where she and George raised their family. Joan is also survived by her brother Charles and his wife Beverly who retired to Leesburg with them in 2004. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
