Joan D. Cuomo 76, most recently a resident of The Villages, Fla and formerly of Thornwood, N.Y. died on May 4, 2012. She was born on Nov.18, 1935 to the late Edward and Loretta (nee Guzowski) Soboleski in N.Y., N.Y. Joan was predeceased by her devoted husband Vincent J. Cuomo in 2001 and is survived by her loving sons; Kenneth (Tracey) Cuomo of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. and Perry Cuomo of Somers, N.Y. one sister, Leona (David) Wheeler of Fountain Valley, Calif. Also survived by her fourcherished grandchildren; Jonathan, Matthew, Courtney and Erin Cuomo. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
