Joan Barbara (Weiss) Bedore

Joan Weiss Bedore passed away peacefully in Calvery Hospital on January 19, 2020, Bronx, NY at the age of 82 surrounded by her family. Joan is survived by her brother, Roger Weiss, son, Wayne E. Bedore (Susan), son, Robert C. Bedore (Vickie), six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.   She also leaves behind her loving friend of 78 years, Sylvia Shay. Joan is a native of White Plains, NY, and retired from ADT Security.   Joan enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and winning was the only option.  These times brought much laughter to everyone who was lucky enough to be her partner and/or adversary.   Her family will forever miss her homemade sauce, meatballs and Christmas cookies. She is preceded in death by her mother Rebecca Weiss of NY and father, Louis Weiss of FL. Interment, King David Cemetery, Putnam Valley, NY on Monday Jan. 27, 2020 at 11 AM.
