Jesus R. Ballena Eneque, of Glendale, New York, passed away on May 13, 2020 at Westchester Medical Center at the age of 69 after battling COVID-19. Jesus was born in Monsefu-Chiclayo, Peru on April 17, 1951 to Inocente Ballena and Isidora Eneque.

Jesus is survived by his wife Maria A. Gonzales of 30 years of marriage. Together they had daughters, Brenda and Stephanie, and son, Larry Ballena.

Jesus is also survived by his former spouse, Isabel Saire, whom together they had Jennifer and Karen Ballena.

Jesus is also survived by his four grandchildren: Elizabeth Michelle (16 yo), Melanie Priscilla (8 yo), Alaia Marie (4 yo), and Noah Jesus (6 mo).

Jesus will warmly remain in the hearts of his family because of his lasting impact as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He will always be revered for his energized motivation to thrive and devotion to his family. His great love and devotion are recognized by all and will live on forever in each and everyone of their lives. For those who had the honor in knowing him, Jesus was never a person to give up. Even though his diabetes had worsened and was going through dialysis for kidney failure, he still managed to get up every day with a smile and was ready to continue being productive. On May 21, 2020, there will be a private service at Ballard Durand Funeral Home and burial following at Saint Michael's Cemetery. Both have been restricted to immediate family by NY State regulations. The Ballena family will have a Celebration of Life service for Jesus at a future time. Jesus R. Ballena Eneque, de Glendale, Nueva York, falleció el 13 de Mayo del 2020 en el hospital Westchester Medical Center a la edad de 69 años por complicaciones de COVID-19. Jesus nació en Monsefu-Chiclayo, Per&uacute el 17 de Abril del 1951 hijo del Sr. Inocente Ballena y Sra. Isidora Eneque.

Jesus es sobrevivido de su esposa Sra. María Aurora Gonzales de 30 años de matrimonio. Juntos tuvieron a sus hijas, Brenda e Stephanie, e hijo, Larry Ballena.

Jesus también es sobrevivido de su esposa anterior, Sra. Isabel Saire, quienes juntos tuvieron a sus hijas Jennifer e Karen Ballena.

Jesus también es sobrevivido de sus cuatro nietos: Elizabeth Michelle (16 años), Melanie Priscilla (8 años), Alaia Marie (4 años), y Noah Jesus (6 meses).

Jesus permanecerá calurosamente en los corazones de su familia debido a su impacto duradero como un amado esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tío, sobrino, y amigo. Siempre será recordado por su motivación energética para prosperar y por su devoción a su familia. Su gran amor y devoción será recordado por todo aquel que lo conoció y vivirá por siempre en sus vidas. Aquellos quien tuvieron el honor en conocerlo, saben que Jesus nunca se daba por vencido fácilmente. A pesar de su avanzada condición de la diabetes y por la diálisis que pasaba por insuficiencia renal, el aun mantenía un humor positivo para sonreír diariamente y estaba listo para ser productible. El 21 de Mayo del 2020, tendremos un servicio privado en la funeraria Ballard-Durand, seguido por el sepelio en el cementerio San Michaels. Ambos han sido restringidos a la familia inmediata por las regulaciones del estado de Nueva York. La familia Ballena tendrá una misa por Jesus en una futura fecha.
