Jerome A. Wigle

Jerome A. Wigle 76, of Pleasantville, N.Y. and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. died on August 9, 2009 at Skyview Nursing Home in Croton, N.Y. He was born on Oct.27, 1932 to the late Roy and Bertha (nee Nau) Wigle in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. Jerome proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He took over his parents business in 1965 and became owner-operator of Wigle Rug Cleaning in Valhalla, N.Y. a business that was started in 1935. He is survived by his devoted wife Elizabeth (nee Brophy) Wigle of Pleasantville, N.Y. His loving children; Patricia A. Ryan and her husband John of Hopewell Jct., N.Y. and David A. Wigle and his wife Barbara of Centreville, VA. 3 sisters; Ellen Krause of Yonkers, N.Y. Carol McAllister of San Diego, Calif. and Marilyn Connors of Falls Church, VA. Also survived by 5 cherished grandchildren: Chelsea, Aimee and Vanessa Ryan and Christopher and Kayla Wigle. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
