Jeanne Naidich, formerly of 20 North Broadway, White Plains, passed away on December 31, 2008 in Naples, Florida. The daughter of Rebekah and Samuel Boris, she was born April 5, 1909 in Philadelphia, Pa. She was one of eight children and a brother, Ira Boris of Pompano Beach, Fl survives. In 1935 she married George Naidich of White Plains. She was happily married for 49 years until his death in 1984. In addition to her brother, she is survived by her daughter, Beth Weinberg of Naples, Florida; a son, Stuart Naidich of Tuscon, Arizona; four grandchildren; Andrew Weinberg of Middlebury, Vermont; Heather Cutter of Berkeley, California; Jeffrey Nunno of Tuscon, Arizona; and Jeremy Nunno of Rochester, NY. Four great grandchildren also survive.
A woman of keen mind, great warmth and kind heart, she will be greatly missed by her family who were blessed to have her in their lives for almost 10 decades. She was a model of what a wonderful mother, grand mother and great grandmother should be. She was a devoted and caring friend to all. Her life was marked by her concern for all humankind.
A graveside service will be held on January 5, 2009 at Sharon Gardens Cemetery where she will be buried next to her beloved husband. Cantor Spinner of Hebrew Institute in White Plains will preside.
