Jean M. MacIlvane

Jean M. MacIlvane 79, of Hawthorne , N.Y. died on May 15, 2016. She was born on Oct.1, 1936 to the late Thomas and Lillian Hannon in Bronx, N.Y. Jean was a retired teachers aide with Hawthorne Cedar Knolls School in Hawthorne, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Lester W. MacIlvane in 1993 and by her son Scott MacIlvane in 2007. She is survived by her loving son, Mark MacIlvane of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by her four cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer, Kristen and Riley. Also survived by her brother, Thomas (Skip) (Patricia) Hannon of Bradenton, Fla. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, 12:30 PM. Entombment to follow.
