Jean H. (MacBain) Desimone

Jean (nee MacBain) Desimone 91, of Hawthorne, NY passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Feb. 12, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband Crescent Vincent Desimone and is survived by her children, Michael and wife Maureen of Somers, Jim and wife Kitty of Tarrytown,  Jeannie Neble of Massachusetts and John and wife Lori of Valhalla In addition to her children, she leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Michael, (wife Marni), Kerin, Emily, Gregory, Molly, George, Caroline, Matthew, Nicole, and her two great grandchildren, Hunter and Logan. Jean adored her grandchildren and family. She found great comfort and joy in all gatherings especially those spent with her extended family and friends.  She was an avid sports fan who found great pleasure attending her beloved NY Yankee games. Family will be receiving visitors at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Thursday February 15th from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the St. John’s Episcopal Church, Pleasantville, NY on Friday, February 16th at 10am. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blythedale Childrens Hospital, 95 Bradhurst Ave, Valhalla, NY.
