James W. ( Buddy ) Fitzgerald, Jr

James W. (Buddy) Fitzgerald, Jr. 80, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Nov.20, 2011. He was born on August 18, 1931 to the late James and Melva Fitzgerald in White Plains, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Marines from 1952-1954. Buddy was owner-operator of Buddy Fitzgerald Wheel Alignment in Thornwood, N.Y. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (nee Langle) Fitzgerald of Ossining, N.Y. and by his daughters; Kari (Rick) Sharry of Ridgewood, N.J. and Heidi Fitzgerald of Tarrytown, N.Y. one sister, Elizabeth Adam of Ocala, Fla. and three grandchildren; Jack, Liam and Brielle Sharry. Also survived by his two nieces, Marci and Kelley Healy and one nephew, Christopher Healy. Predeceased by his sister, Lucy Tompkins. Memorial Service, Hawthorne Reformed Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10:30 AM. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to SPCA 590 North State Road Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. 10510 would be appreciated.
