James L Fishel

FISHEL, James Lee, died peacefully at his home in Rye Brook, NY, on March 3, 2013, surrounded by his family. Jim was born in 1931, raised in Brookline MA, and graduated from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Retired as Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at GE Capital in 1994 after 28 years, Jim served on several Boards including, Noble Drilling Corporation and American Health Properties. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Horlick Fishel, his children Jonathan, Kenneth and Amy, son-in-law, Chris, his grandchildren Eliana, Jason, Emily, Oliver, Isabella and Sadie and his sister Norma Myers. Services will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains, 10:00AM, Wednesday, March 6. Shiva will be observed Wednesday, March 6th following the burial until 5:00pm and Thursday March 7, 2013 from 2-8pm at the home of Marilyn Fichel 17 Hidden Rond Drive, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
