James M. Finan

James M. Finan 68, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on January 17, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. He was born on Nov.3, 1941 to the late William and Margaret Finan in White Plains, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. James was a Union Carpenter. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Lucille (nee DelGaudio) Finan in 2009. He is survived by his loving children; James Finan of Hawthorne, N.Y. and his fiancee Sandra Herbst. Michael Finan and his wife Andrea of Hawthorne, N.Y. Robert Fair and his wife Lucille of Blauvelt, N.Y. and Kimberly Palmiero and her husband John of Valhalla, N.Y. 2 brothers William (Maureen) Finan of Valhalla, N.Y. John (Ann) Finan of Hawthorne, N.Y. and 2 sisters Jeanne (Vincent) Tobin of Upper Saddle River, N.J. and Patricia (Peter) King of Montville, N.J. Also survived by 4 cherished grandchildren; Jonathan and Arianna Palmiero and Anthony and Daniella Fair. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
