James KC Doran

On Saturday morning, September 7, 2019, James Kershaw Cuddy Doran passed away peacefully at home at the age of 77.

Jim was born on August 17, 1942 in Yonkers, New York, the 7th of 8 children of Arthur and Katherine Doran.  He married his childhood sweetheart, the former Marianne McLean, in 1966.  They spent 48 of their 53 years together in Pleasantville, New York, where they raised five children: Suzanne (Largey), Marielise (Watts), James Jr., Stephanie (Fuller) and Gregory.  He delighted in his 18 grandchildren who were an endless source of love and joy to him: Sean, Brendan, Kevin and Kyle Largey; Patrick, Paul, Thomas and Mallory Watts; James, Scott and Peyton Doran; Maggie, Eddie, Katherine and William Fuller; and Grady, Avery and Riley Doran.

Jim was a graduate of Manhattan College and Fordham Law School.  He spent his entire career at the New York Stock Exchange, retiring in 2003.

In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Jim is survived by his brothers, Daniel and Arthur Jr., his sisters, Mary and Sally and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sisters Ann, Marcy and Kayette.  Jim loved being from such a large clan, and nothing made him happier than a big, boisterous family gathering.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on September 14, 2019, at Church of the Magdalene, 525 Bedford Road, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
