James J. Donnelly

James J. Donnelly 90, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Feb.27, 2021. He was born on Feb.12, 1931 to the late Edward and Kathryn (nee Fleming) Donnelly in Brooklyn, N.Y. Jim served proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Quality Control Mgr. with ACMI in Stamford, CT. , producers of Medical Devices. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, St. Dominic Council in Thornwood, N.Y. Thornwood American Legion and The Mount Pleasant Seniors. James is survived by his devoted wife, Gertrude (nee Kind) Donnelly of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving sons, William E. (Elizabeth) Donnelly of Ridgefield, CT., James J. (Nina) Donnelly of Raritan, NJ., Paul C. (Patricia) Donnelly of Hawthorne, N.Y., Michael A. (Therese) Donnelly of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and Stephen J. (Barbara) Donnelly of Mountain Lakes, N.J. also survived by his nine cherished grandchildren, Kelly, Joseph, Garrick, Christopher, Keira, Liam, Heather, Meaghan, and Erin. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 9AM-11AM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11:30 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
