James T. Christ 48, of Harrison, N.Y. and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Aug.28, 2016. He was born on Nov.9, 1967 to Peter and Judith (Risher) Christ in White Plains, N.Y. Family and Friends will always remember him for the smile he consistently brought to the faces of others fortunate enough to be touched by him. Besides his parents, Peter and Judith Christ of Stamford, CT and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. , James is survived by his loving sister, Nancy (Christ) Purpura of Stamford, CT, her husband Gary Purpura, his beloved nephews, Taylor and Grant Purpura and his uncles, Donald Risher of Larchmont, N.Y. and Edward Monk of White Plains, N.Y. and predeceased by his aunt, Joan Monk formerly of White Plains, N.Y. Funeral Service to be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, (today) 10:30 AM with Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
